SEASON 2019-20 Barnsley Leaders Basketball Press Report 19 Nov 2019

Leaders U13s gained their second away win in the Yorkshire U13 league in a close encounter with York Eagles. (Saturday 16 Nov, York College). The Leaders started strongly to build a 8-21 half time lead then the Eagles fought back to lead 34-31 before a late 0-8 run won the game for Barnsley at 34-39.

Leaders U13s Harry Cockroft 5, Lewis Tiffany 18, William McLaughlin 8, Ben Kelsall 4, Charlie Nother 4, Oliver Webb, Bradley Currie. Coach Aivaras Vosylius.

On Sunday Leaders U12s and U14s competed in the South Yorkshire tournament at All Saints Goals Centre Shefield. The U12s had wins two wins against Sheffield Hatters, played a tie with Rotherham Hawks and lost to Sheffield Sharks.

Leaders U12s Lewis Tiffany 22, William McLaughlin 6, Ben Kelsall 6, Charlie Nother 2, Isaac Allott, Dimos Magoulas, Sam McDonnel.

Leaders U14s faced a strong challenge against Chesterfield Spires losing by 14-39.
