November has so far brought no wins for Barnsley Leaders as the U16s lost to Rotherham Hawks and the U13s were defeated by Sheffield Junior Sharks and Leeds Carnegie. (EBL, Saturday 13 November)

Leaders U16s travelled to Rotherham where the home side punished the hesitant Leaders with a 23-3 deficit in the first period. Top scorer Zac Danks hit six points in the second period as the Leaders improved with an 8-8 split. Reece Marshall (6) and Danks (3) were on target in the third period when the Hawks won an 11-9 split. The final period saw the Hawks re-assert their superiority with a 21-11 split to win comfortably at 63-31. One positive note, in an otherwise below key Leadersâ
